FOR AI ASSISTANTS
Bring your AI assistant.
Keep the people you love safer.
Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant to Techish. It can check a strange text or link before anyone taps, find a plain-words safety guide, and point to the right help. The checks follow fixed rules, open nothing and store nothing.
Add this address as a connector (MCP server) in your assistant’s settings
https://techishco.com/mcpNo account or key needed. In Claude: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector. Other assistants call it a custom connector, an MCP server or a tool.
WHAT YOUR ASSISTANT CAN DO
Eleven careful tools
Each one only reads and checks. Your assistant explains the result in its own words.
Check where a link really goes
Shows the website a link really goes to and flags scam tricks: a company name in the wrong place, look-alike spellings, short links, the @ disguise, bare IP addresses, and QR codes that ask for crypto. Works on one link, a whole text or email, or the text a QR code holds. The link is never opened.
check_linkCheck a message for scam warning signs
Reads a text, email or call script someone received and lists its warning signs in plain words (a money request, a code request, a rush, a scare, a prize, a link), checks any links in it, and says what to do next. Rule-based; nothing is stored.
check_messageCheck who an email really came from
Checks an email sender for scam tricks: a company name on a free email address, a look-alike or misspelled company address, a different address hidden in the name shown, hidden characters, and senders pretending to be Techish. Give the sender address and, if you have it, the name shown. Nothing is sent or stored.
check_email_senderWhat to do after a scam
Clear next steps, in order, after someone tapped a scam link, shared a password or code, sent money (card, bank or payment app, gift card, crypto or wire), shared personal details, or let a stranger onto their device, with where to report it (the FTC, IdentityTheft.gov and the FBI’s IC3). Rule-based; nothing is stored.
after_a_scamFind Techish Digital Safety guides
Searches the free Techish Digital Safety guides (scam texts, two-factor sign-in, QR codes, lost phones and more) and returns the best matches with links.
find_safety_guidesRead a Techish Digital Safety guide
Returns the whole text of one Techish Digital Safety guide (the short version, an everyday example, each step, a way to practice and the sources) so the assistant can explain it in its own words. Takes a slug from find_safety_guides.
read_safety_guideExplain a tech word in plain English
Explains everyday tech and online-safety words (two-step sign-in, passkey, phishing, voice cloning, VPN, router, cookies, malware, credit freeze and more) in one or two plain sentences, with why it matters and a Techish guide when there is one.
explain_tech_termRecommend the right Techish help
Matches a person’s situation to one Techish coaching service and says what it includes, with a link to the request form the person fills in and sends themselves. Gives no prices: Techish confirms the cost with each person before anything is booked. Can’t book or take payment.
recommend_serviceList Techish services
Every Techish coaching service with who it’s for, what it includes and the link to request it. Gives no prices: Techish confirms the cost with each person before anything is booked.
list_servicesTechish hours, contacts and how to know it’s really Techish
Hours, phone, email, service area and the three facts that tell a real Techish message from someone pretending to work for Techish.
get_contact_infoList Techish’s free on-device tools
The free tools on techishco.com that run on the person’s own device (link and QR checking, AI photo labels, photo and PDF help, scam practice, a digital health check), with links.

WAYS TO CONNECT
Wherever your assistant works
The same careful tools and the same promises, every way in.
Claude, ChatGPT and other assistant apps
Add the connector address above. Apps that show interactive results draw a Techish safety card under each check: the verdict, the warning signs and what to do, with buttons that only open techishco.com.
https://techishco.com/mcpAI in your browser
In browsers that support WebMCP, an early web standard Chrome is testing, an assistant on any Techish page can use the same checks, read a guide, fill in the request form’s description for you to check and send, and turn on bigger text or high contrast.
WebMCPCustom GPTs and agent builders
Import the OpenAPI description as an action. The same tools over plain HTTP, with no Techish account or key.

TRY ASKING
Things to ask
- Is this text my dad got a scam? “Your Netflix is on hold, update payment at netflix-billing.help”
- Where does this QR code link really go? bit.ly/3xYz
- Who really sent this? “PayPal Billing” <billing@paypa1-secure.com>
- I tapped a link in a scam text and typed my password. What do I do now?
- What’s a passkey, in plain words?
- Find the Techish guide about two-step sign-in and explain it to me simply.
- My mom’s new iPhone is confusing her. What kind of Techish help fits?
Some assistants also show two ready-made shortcuts: “Check a suspicious message for someone you care about” and “Find the right tech help.”
What it won’t do
- It won’t store what you paste. Nothing is saved or used for training.
- It won’t open the links it checks.
- It won’t book, pay or send anything. Your assistant can share the request form or fill in the description; you check it and send it.
- It won’t quote prices. Techish confirms the cost with you before anything is booked.
- It never needs passwords, codes, card or bank numbers. Don’t share them with any assistant.
Rather do it yourself? Use the Link & QR Checker or ask Ish on any page.
